Role: Senior GCP Data Engineer

Location: Noida, GGN, Pune and Bangalore

Experience: 8+ Years

Immediate Joiners Only Data Engineers with strong GCP experience (GCS, BigQuery, Composer, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run). Teradata experience is preferred but optional; the client has confirmed this. We have been pursuing this opportunity since last year, competing with vendors like Onix and Adestra.

Due to the project’s scale, Loblaws has now requested our support. However, we must close these roles within the next 1–2 weeks, or risk losing them to other vendors. This Teradata-to-GCP migration must be completed by end of February 2027 to avoid additional Teradata licensing costs for Loblaws, so timing is critical.

Must-Have Skills

Strong Python programming

Hands-on GCP experience (GCS, BigQuery, Composer, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run)

ETL/ELT pipeline development and SQL

Solid analytical skills; ability to work independently

Git and CI/CD familiarity

Effective communication

Good-to-Have Skills

Teradata or similar migration experience

Basic Java reading ability

Unix/shell scripting

Stakeholder coordination for requirements gathering.
