Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python/Django) | In office | Bengaluru
We’re building the infrastructure layer connecting payments, offers, and data-driven marketing for the physical retail ecosystem.
We’re a stealth-mode startup operating at the intersection of fintech and martech, backed by pre-seed funding and already working with leading retailers and brands in the Philippines.
We’re looking for experienced Senior Full Stack Engineers who enjoy owning systems end-to-end from database design to user-facing interfaces.
What You’ll Do
- Own product areas end-to-end across backend systems and user interfaces
- Design schemas, plan migrations, and optimize PostgreSQL performance
- Build server-rendered applications using Django, HTMX, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Make architectural decisions within a modular monolith architecture
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams
- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of experience building production-grade web applications
- Strong expertise in Python and backend frameworks (Django preferred)
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization
- Experience owning product or platform areas independently
- Familiarity with Redis, Celery, Docker, and AWS
- Strong problem-solving and system design capabilities
Nice to Have
- Experience with HTMX, Hotwire, or server-driven UI architectures
- Background in fintech, martech, SaaS, or payments systems
- Experience with modular monolith architectures
- Open-source contributions within the Python ecosystem
