Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who thrives in a collaborative engineering environment and takes ownership of features from concept to deployment. You will design and build scalable backend services and contribute to high-performance frontend applications for enterprise clients.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain secure backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build modern, responsive web applications using React (Tailwind CSS preferred)
- Architect and implement event-driven systems for real-time data processing and communication
- Implement OAuth 2.0 and other authentication and authorisation mechanisms for secure user access
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated, reliable deployments
- Design and optimise data storage across SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
- Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly into existing platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — product, design,



and engineering — to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Champion engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, documentation, and system architecture

What We're Looking For Must-Have Skills:

- 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development
- Experience with React and modern component libraries (Tailwind CSS preferred) for frontend development
- Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and secure authentication flows or similar
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimisation
- Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming patterns and event-driven architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on security and performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API gateways
- Experience with Serverless frameworks or FaaS patterns on AWS
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Background in insurance, fintech, or financial services industry
