BUILD THE NEXT GENERATION OF SMART INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS
We are looking for an experienced Senior Firmware Developer to take ownership of embedded firmware architecture and development for next-generation industrial, automotive and IoT-enabled products.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working close to the hardware, processor, RTOS, Embedded Linux and product architecture and wants to build reliable, secure and production-ready embedded systems.
You will work across firmware architecture, RTOS, Embedded Linux, hardware bring-up, communication protocols, secure boot, firmware updates and embedded cybersecurity, while collaborating closely with hardware, cloud and application teams.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Embedded Firmware Development
- Architect, design and develop robust embedded firmware using Embedded C/C++.
- Develop firmware for STM32, NXP, ARM Cortex-M and Cortex-A platforms.
- Develop real-time applications using FreeRTOS / Azure RTOS.
- Perform firmware architecture reviews, optimization and code-quality improvements.
Embedded Linux & Processor Development
- Work on Embedded Linux, Yocto Project and BSP development.
- Customize and integrate Linux device drivers and system components.
- Work with NXP i.MX6/i.MX8/i.MX9, Cortex-A and similar application processors.
- Develop and customize U-Boot / bootloader solutions.
- Support processor-level performance optimization and system debugging.
Communication & Industrial Connectivity Develop and optimize communication stacks involving:
CAN | FDCAN | UART | SPI | I2C | RS232 | RS485
Exposure to Modbus, MQTT, TCP/IP, BLE, Wi-Fi or automotive diagnostics will be highly valuable.
Embedded Security
Build security into the product from the firmware level:
- Secure Boot and Chain of Trust
- Firmware signing and verification
- Secure firmware updates / OTA / FOTA
- AES-256 / SHA
- PKI and certificate-based authentication
- mbedTLS / embedded cryptographic libraries
- Secure provisioning and device authentication
- Key management and secure storage
- TPM / HSM / Secure Element exposure
Hardware Bring-Up & Debugging
- Perform PCB and board bring-up.
- Debug hardware/software integration issues.
- Work with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD and CAN analysis tools.
- Analyze CAN communication using PCAN Analyzer / CAN Bus Analyzer.
- Validate high-speed interfaces including DDR, eMMC, SD Card, Ethernet, USB and PCIe.
Quality & Engineering Excellence
- Follow MISRA C and secure coding practices.
- Perform static code analysis and resolve code-quality issues.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews and technical documentation.
- Mentor junior firmware engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for someone who has:
- 8-12 years of hands-on Embedded Firmware/Embedded Software experience.
- Strong Embedded C programming expertise.
- Hands-on experience with STM32 / NXP / ARM processors.
- Experience with FreeRTOS / Azure RTOS.
- Solid Embedded Linux + Yocto + BSP experience.
- Experience with Bootloader / U-Boot.
- Strong knowledge of CAN/FDCAN and embedded communication protocols.
- Experience with Secure Boot, firmware security and OTA/FOTA.
- Hands-on hardware bring-up and debugging experience.
- Knowledge of MISRA C and static analysis.
- Strong understanding of embedded product development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
Electronics | Electrical Engineering | Embedded Systems | E&TC; | Computer Engineering | Related Engineering Discipline
COMPENSATION
CTC: Up to 17 LPA
Flexible for exceptional candidates with highly relevant experience.
We are willing to evaluate candidates beyond the stated range where there is a strong match across Embedded Linux, Yocto, NXP, RTOS, Secure Boot and embedded cybersecurity.
