Role & responsibilities

Internal Audit & Financial Controls (Primary Responsibility)

- Lead and manage the internal audit function across manufacturing plants, warehouses and corporate office.
- Design and implement robust internal financial controls (IFC), SOPs and governance frameworks.
- Conduct process audits covering procurement, production, inventory, sales, dispatch, finance and commercial operations.
- Identify operational and financial risks and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor implementation of audit observations and ensure timely closure of action points.
- Drive compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations and management guidelines.
- Perform periodic reviews of inventory controls, wastage, stock reconciliation and cost leakages.
- Strengthen fraud prevention mechanisms and risk mitigation practices.

Risk Management & Compliance (Primary Responsibility)

- Develop and maintain enterprise risk management processes.
- Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory and corporate compliance requirements.
- Monitor GST, Income Tax, TDS and other direct/indirect tax compliances.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of compliance records.
- Support implementation of governance and ethical business practices.

Accounting & Finance

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including GL accounting, monthly closing and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate preparation and finalization of financial statements.
- Oversee receivables, payables, reconciliations and working capital management.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, product costing, inventory valuation and margin analysis.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment as per applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Review cash flow planning and optimize fund utilization.

Direct & Indirect Taxation

- Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory returns.
- Handle assessments, notices,



reconciliations and departmental queries.
- Monitor tax positions and identify areas for process improvement and tax efficiency.
- Coordinate tax audits and ensure compliance readiness.

Banking & Treasury Management

- Oversee banking operations including fund management, bank reconciliations and banking relationships.
- Oversee working capital limits, CC/OD facilities, term loans and banking documentation.
- Support treasury planning and cash flow monitoring.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections.

Company Secretarial & Legal Coordination

- Coordinate with Company Secretary for board resolutions, ROC filings and corporate compliances.
- Maintain statutory records and support legal/compliance documentation.
- Assist management in handling agreements, licenses and regulatory matters.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

- Support annual budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards and variance analysis for management review.
- Analyze profitability, product margins and operational efficiencies.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Track KPIs and support business performance reviews.

Preferred candidate profile Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in FMCG / Food Manufacturing / Manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience in internal audit, risk management and financial controls.
- Valuable understanding of manufacturing accounting, inventory controls and costing.
- Knowledge of GST, Income Tax and statutory compliances.
- Experience in ERP systems and MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
