- Lead multiple engineering teams through Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and senior engineers.

- Drive engineering strategy, execution excellence, and scalable product delivery.

- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, Security, and business stakeholders.

- Guide architectural decisions across distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.

- Establish engineering best practices for quality, reliability, observability, and security.

- Improve delivery predictability, engineering productivity, and operational performance.

- Oversee roadmap execution, risk management, and cross-functional programme delivery.

- Drive automation across infrastructure, CI/CD, testing, and platform operations.

- Build and develop high-performing teams through hiring, coaching, succession planning, and leadership development.





- Champion customer-centric thinking, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

- 11 years of software engineering experience.

- 4+ years managing Engineering Managers and multiple engineering teams.

- Proven success building and scaling SaaS, platform, or product-led businesses.

- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architectures, APIs, and microservices.

- Experience operating highly available, mission-critical production environments.

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

- Demonstrated success scaling engineering organisations of 30-80+ professionals.

- Track record of driving engineering excellence, reliability, and operational maturity.

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP ecosystems.

- Exposure to high-growth product organisations and contemporary platform engineering practices.

- Preferred background in fintech, health-tech, insuretech, payments, or similarly regulated environments.
