Role & responsibilities

Experienced Senior Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of technical documentation and training programs for defence products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that documentation and training materials are accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with industry standards.

- Technical Documentation: Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical manuals, and maintenance guides.
- Training Development: Create and deliver training programs for defense products, including classroom instruction, online training, and on-the-job training.
- Documentation Control: Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards, including MIL-STD and S1000D.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to ensure that documentation and training materials are accurate and effective.
- Configuration Management:



Ensure that documentation and training materials are properly controlled and updated in accordance with configuration management procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

Skills:

- Solid knowledge of technical documentation and training development principles.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with documentation control and configuration management.
- Familiarity with industry standards, including MIL-STD and S1000D.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams.

1. Certifications: Certification in Technical Communication, Training Development, or a related field.
- Experience with specific documentation tools: Experience with documentation tools, such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or other relevant tools.

- 3. Experience with specific training platforms: Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or other training platforms.
