Role Summary

We are looking for a strategic and digitally-savvy marketing professional to join the JioHotstar South Marketing team driving the next phase of growth across the South business. This role will work across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam markets, helping identify growth opportunities, shape marketing strategy and drive high-impact initiatives across the consumer funnel.

The ideal candidate combines robust marketing fundamentals with analytical rigor, digital-first thinking and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions. While this is an individual contributor role, it requires the ability to work through multiple teams and drive outcomes without direct reporting authority.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Marketing & Growth

- Identify growth opportunities across user lifecycle - acquisition, retention and engagement
- Analyze consumer behaviour, user journeys and audience cohorts to uncover opportunities to deepen engagement and grow Watch Time.
- Design and drive campaigns, interventions and special projects that deliver measurable outcomes across markets and consumer segments.
- Build repeatable marketing frameworks that support long-term growth objectives.

Digital & Performance Marketing

- Hands-on experience in running and optimizing large-scale marketing campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google and other digital ecosystems.
- Partner with platform marketing and media teams to unlock opportunities across acquisition, engagement and retention
- Stay ahead of evolving industry trends and best practices across performance marketing, social media and consumer engagement.
- Recommend and implement new approaches to improve marketing effectiveness, efficiency and ROI.





Data & Consumer Insights

- Leverage platform data, campaign metrics and consumer insights to drive both marketing and creative decisions-from audience targeting to messaging and content positioning.
- Drive a culture of experimentation through structured testing, including A/B testing of creatives, messaging, audience cohorts and campaign approaches.

AI & Marketing Innovation

- Stay ahead of emerging AI-led marketing practices and identify opportunities to apply them within the business.
- Champion the adoption of tools, technologies and ways of working that improve productivity, effectiveness and consumer impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Content, Strategy, Product, Analytics, Platform Marketing & Business teams to drive initiatives from idea to execution
- Influence stakeholders across teams and markets to align on priorities, timelines and deliver outcomes.
- Drive problem-solving and ensure progress on strategic initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration.

Candidate Profile

- 10-12 years of experience in Marketing, Growth, Consumer Marketing or Digital Marketing roles.
- Experience in industries such as E-commerce, OTT, FMCG, Consumer Internet, Digital-first businesses or Technology platforms.
- Brings a data-led and digital-first perspective to marketing decision-making.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing and social media ecosystems.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in matrixed organizations
- High ownership, strong problem-solving ability and outcome-oriented mindset.
- Curious, adaptable and passionate about the evolving intersection of creative, marketing, technology and consumer behaviour.
