About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure Data Services, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Data Factory, along with a robust foundation in data modeling and solution architecture. This is a key strategic role responsible for defining and delivering enterprise-grade data architectures that support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and design enterprise-level data solutions using Azure Data Services, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, and Power BI.
- Lead data integration and ETL pipeline development to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient data movement across environments.
- Build and maintain logical and physical data models that align with business goals and analytical use cases.
- Optimize performance of databases and data pipelines through query tuning, indexing, and resource scaling.
- Ensure data governance, security, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of the data architecture.




- Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and developers to gather requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data processes, architectural components, and standards.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 12+ years in Data Architecture with 8+ years working on Microsoft data technologies and Azure cloud.
- Technical Expertise:
- Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks
- Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI
- Data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)
- ETL/ELT pipeline design and implementation
- Analytical Skills: Ability to break down complex business problems into actionable data solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
