Role & responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard DevOps practices.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning.

- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (AKS/GKE) in production environments.

- Package and deploy applications using Helm Charts across multiple environments.

- Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security, compliance, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.

- Design secure cloud architectures with a focus on high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and governance.

- Configure and manage cloud networking components, including Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, load balancers, firewalls, and network security policies.

- Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and secrets management to ensure secure cloud operations.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Google Cloud Monitoring.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures to improve platform reliability.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

- Establish cloud governance standards, operational best practices, and automation frameworks across the organization.

- Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable cloud-native solutions.

- Mentor and guide DevOps and Cloud Engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance platform capabilities.





- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, regulatory standards, and cloud governance frameworks.

- Support cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

- Participate in release planning, capacity planning, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- 812 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Proven experience in designing and managing Kubernetes clusters (AKS/GKE) in production environments.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Expertise in Helm Charts, Kubernetes deployments, and microservices architecture.

- Robust understanding of cloud networking, Virtual Networks (VNets), Load Balancers, DNS, Firewalls, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).

- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance.

- Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), RBAC, and secrets management.

- Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Google Cloud Monitoring.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills for production incidents and root cause analysis (RCA).

- Strong understanding of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup, and business continuity planning.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
