Role Description The Senior Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions that power Metricform’s Narrative Intelligence platform. In this full time remote role, you will architect high-throughput services, ensure system reliability across massive data streams, and streamline our AI pipeline integrations.

Key duties include developing backend services and APIs, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.

You will collaborate closely with product leadership, executive stakeholders, and fellow engineers to refine requirements, plan technical approaches,



and deliver robust features. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring team members to uphold best practices in software development. Must-Have Technical Expertise:

5+ Years Python Mastery: Deep experience with FastAPI, asyncio, and REST API design.

Production ML/NLP (2+ Years): Proven experience deploying embeddings, transformers, and LLM inference at scale.

Advanced Data Structures: Direct experience with Vector Search (pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate) and Graph Algorithms (Community detection/Network science).

Backend Infrastructure: Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery for task queuing.

DevOps: Experience with Cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure) and robust CI/CD pipelines. Nice-to-Have (The "Bonus" Skills):

Experience with Kafka/Flink for massive data streams.

Direct experience with TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter API rate-limit management.

Orchestration experience with Kubernetes/Docker.

Frontend experience (React/Next.js) to assist with console visualization.
