Role Description The Senior Cyber Security Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for delivering advanced cybersecurity courses and practical labs across offensive and defensive domains. This role includes designing and updating curricula, creating hands-on scenarios, CTFs, and simulations, and teaching topics such as ethical hacking, network and application security, malware analysis, and information security best practices. The trainer will mentor learners, assess performance, provide feedback, and guide them through projects, internships, and exam preparation.

Day-to-day activities involve collaborating with the academic team to keep content aligned with current industry threats, tools,



and standards, as well as contributing to workshops, seminars, and corporate training sessions. The trainer is also expected to support placement efforts by helping learners become job-ready through portfolio guidance and interview preparation.

Qualifications Robust expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with experience in designing and delivering advanced training programs.

Hands-on skills in Network Security, including configuring, monitoring, and securing network infrastructures and protocols.

Proficiency in Application Security, with the ability to teach secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and web application testing.

Practical experience in Malware Analysis, including reverse engineering fundamentals, threat detection, and incident response workflows.

Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor in cybersecurity or related technical fields, with strong classroom and lab facilitation skills.

Familiarity with offensive security techniques (ethical hacking, red teaming, penetration testing) and defensive practices (SOC operations, SIEM, hardening).

Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent practical experience are highly beneficial.

Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts clearly, and a learner-centric approach to teaching diverse audiences.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or substantial demonstrable industry experience
