Masters in Finance, 3-4 Years of Relevant Experience

Required Skills & Competencies

- Responsible for analyzing the proposal with the required due diligence and to ensure that all information required to take a credit decision is captured in the proposal. The incumbent is expected to ensure that the credit proposals are processed in line with the parameters as decided under the program.
- Also responsible to ensure that proposals are compliant with all the norms of credit policy, RBI regulations and other statutory regulations.
- Maintain stipulated TAT in credit appraisal process and is also responsible for keeping update on the various changes in economic scenario, sectors, etc., coordination with sales team for faster decisions to improvise TATs of the overall sanction process.
- Cross functional coordination to enable timely approval of credit proposals
- Self updation on economic / sectoral changes in the economy
- Seamless co-ordination with multiple internal and external entities
- Review of anchor programs.
- To execute and monitor the status of key initiatives and portfolio monitoring MIS.
- The critical skill sets are a strong analytical acumen, evaluation skills,



detail orientation & decision making skills, initiative & target orientation & market intelligence developed through a strong industry network.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include initial screening of the proposal, thorough appraisal of credit proposals with the required due diligence; coordination with the sales team for resolution of credit and risk concerns, maintaining Turn Around Time (TAT); interfacing with the Sales team for faster decisions; Assist in Anchor program reviews.

Underwriting and Recommending Quality Proposals

Supporting Actions

- Underwrite proposals according to established parameters and credit policies.
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of Management Risk, Industry Risk, Business Risk, and Financial Risk associated with each proposal.
- Adhere strictly to credit policy guidelines to ensure proposal compliance.
- Identify and address strengths, weaknesses, and proper risk mitigants within each proposal.
- Recommend high-quality proposals to ensure a strong portfolio with minimal Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).

Effective Turnaround Time (TAT) for Proposal Validation

Supporting Actions

- Ensure prompt and efficient processing of all proposals.
- Maintain high standards for validation efficiency to support timely decision-making.

Renewal / Enhancement of Existing Facilities

Supporting Actions

- Review and ensure renewal proposals comply with the conditions stipulated at the time of the previous sanction.
- Ensure timely submission of renewal proposals to the Credit Committee.
- Oversee the timely renewal process to ensure continued service to the client.

Sales Support & Capacity Building

Supporting Actions

- Respond promptly and effectively to all requests from the Sales team.
- Engage with customers to understand their business credentials, ensuring a smooth case progression and timely action.

Continuous Portfolio Monitoring and Audit Assistance

Supporting Actions

- Conduct regular reviews of borrower accounts to ensure ongoing monitoring of portfolio quality.




- Support the NCM – Supply Chain Finance in completing a satisfactory audit of the portfolio under your responsibility.
