Senior AI Engineer Medical Computer Vision & Multimodal AI
About the Role :
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with expertise in Medical Computer Vision and Multimodal AI to develop and fine-tune advanced AI models for medical image detection and automated report generation. You will take ownership of model development, architecture decisions, evaluation, and deployment while working independently with global teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and fine-tune multimodal AI models for medical imaging.
- Build AI solutions for image classification, detection, localization, and report generation.
- Preprocess and prepare medical imaging datasets (Chest X-ray, CT, MSK X-ray).
- Improve model accuracy through error analysis, calibration, and uncertainty estimation.
- Fine-tune Vision-Language Models (VLMs) using LoRA/QLoRA and distributed GPU training.
- Develop DICOM-based data pipelines for large-scale model training.
- Evaluate models using metrics such as BLEU, ROUGE, CheXbert, and RadGraph.
- Work with AWS cloud environments and collaborate with global engineering teams.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Experience with medical imaging datasets such as :
- Chest X-ray
- Neuro CT
- MSK X-ray
3. Hands-on experience with :
- PyTorch
- MONAI
- HuggingFace
Qualifications :
- 10 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or related fields.
- Strong experience in Medical Imaging AI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across global teams.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ownership of AI solutions.
