Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Associate to join our growing team in
Mumbai. You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new healthcare partnersincluding hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centersand nurturing long-term relationships to drive patient loan referrals and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Hospital Relationship Management
Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with hospital management, doctors,
finance departments, patient coordinators, and support staff.
Act as the primary point of contact for all hospital stakeholders regarding CarePal Money (patient financing) and ImpactGuru (crowdfunding) offerings.
Conduct regular in office visits to assigned hospitals ensure high visibility and recall for CarePal
Groups services.
Drive awareness of patient financing and crowdfunding solutions within the hospital ecosystem through in-person meetings, standees, brochures, and staff training.
Patient Engagement & Lead Generation
Engage directly with patients and their families at the hospital premises to understand their financial needs during medical emergencies.
Generate leads by identifying financially stressed patients and offering suitable solutions via
CarePal Money (instant medical loans) or ImpactGuru (medical crowdfunding).
Explain loan and crowdfunding eligibility, process, documentation, and benefits to patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
Guide patients through the application processassist with documentation, form submissions, and connect them with internal support teams for faster closures.
Conversion & Performance Tracking
Drive maximum patient referral volume from each hospital by building rapport and trust with frontline medical staff and hospital coordinators.
Coordinate with internal telesales, credit, and operations teams to ensure swift turnaround on leads and timely updates to patients.
Track daily leads, referrals, conversions, and disbursals to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Share regular updates with reporting managers on referral pipeline status, conversion ratios,
and hospital-level activity metrics.
Mandatory Requirements
Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
Experience: 1-5 years in business development, sales, or partnerships in healthcare, fintech,
insurance, or financial services
Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory
Travel: Comfortable with regular local travel for partner meetings and field visits
Tech Proficiency: Hands-on with CRM tools, mobile apps, and digital onboarding tools
SoftSkills: Robust interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Mindset: High ownership, goal-oriented, and self-motivated to work in a fast-paced, target-
driven environment
