Job Objective The Senior Business Analyst will act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders (including government departments and enterprise users) and technical teams. The role focuses on translating business needs into scalable, digital, and data-driven solutions by leveraging modern methodologies, domain best practices, and emerging technologies such as AI-enabled analytics and automation. The incumbent will ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with organizational and digital transformation goals.

Core Responsibilities

- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives, policy requirements, and operational challenges.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, interviews, and design-thinking sessions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business users, ensuring alignment between business vision and technical execution.
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, Data Flow Diagrams, and RTM.
- Convert complex requirements into transparent user stories with acceptance criteria for Agile teams.
- Maintain product backlogs and support sprint planning, grooming, and reviews.
- Collaborate with architects, developers,



and QA teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment.
- Support UAT planning, execution, defect triage, and sign-off.
- Review deliverables to ensure compliance with requirements, standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Support change management, impact analysis, and version control throughout the SDLC.
- Identify opportunities for business process re-engineering and digital optimization.
- Recommend technology-driven improvements, including workflow automation, dashboards, and AI-assisted insights.
- Apply industry best practices, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Work with data teams to define reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and MIS requirements.
- Support the use of AI/ML-driven tools for requirement analysis, documentation automation, impact analysis, and decision support.
- Enable data-driven decision-making across projects and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualification

Education

- BE / B.Tech
- OR
- Postgraduate in (CS / IT) or equivalent

Experience

- Minimum 7 years of overall experience, with 4+ years in Business Analysis or related roles.
- Proven experience across the complete SDLC in large-scale IT projects.
- Experience working with Government or Public Sector projects is a strong advantage.
