About the Role :

We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to take deep ownership of core segments of our stack. Working out of our Pune office, you will collaborate closely with both local peers and our U.S. engineering team across all aspects of product and application development.

As a senior member of this foundational team, you will leverage your experience to shape architectural decisions, technical strategy, and help build the very culture, processes, and engineering practices of our Pune headquarters.

- Technical Requirements :
- Our evaluation process is designed for a technical generalist with deep, specialized expertise in backend engineering and cloud infrastructure.

Required Technical Experience (Must Have) :

- Python : Expert-level proficiency and extensive production experience.
- Terraform : Deep, hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code state management and provisioning.
- Kubernetes : Solid proficiency with container orchestration, deployment, and cluster management.
- Cloud Platforms : Practical experience with major cloud providers (GCP is strongly preferred
- AWS or Azure is acceptable).

Additional Preferred Experience (Nice to Have) :

- Backend Ecosystems : Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, or NuxtJS.
- Polyglot Exposure : General comfort or experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++, or Go.
- Protocols &
- APIs : Hands-on experience with RPCs (REST, gRPC, or GraphQL).
- Databases : Robust knowledge of SQL and NoSQL systems (Postgres, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.).
- CI/CD &
- Tools : Experience with automated deployment tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab) and version control (Git/Perforce).
- Architecture : Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design.

Ways to Stand Out :

- Familiarity or direct experience with AI/ML platform orchestration.
- Extensive experience building enterprise-scale applications maintaining >99% SLAs.
- Deep,



overlapping expertise across the entire core stack : Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GCP.
