We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with over 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Playwright (3+ years) and API Automation Testing (3+ years), with a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams in a UK-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Develop and execute API automation test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in API Automation Testing.
- Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and authentication mechanisms.
Work Model
- Location: Chennai (Hybrid)
- Shift Timing: UK Shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST)
