We are hiring a Senior Automation Test Engineer (SDET) to join a dynamic QA team. This role is ideal for a proactive automation professional who can design, build, and maintain robust, scalable test solutions while working closely with development and product teams in an Agile workplace.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, REST Assured, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Create and enhance API automation solutions using REST Assured, Java, Karate, Jenkins, and GitLab.
- Develop and execute in-sprint automation testing within an Agile delivery environment.
- Build automation solutions using strong object-oriented programming principles and engineering best practices.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
- Generate clear test reports and dashboards using Allure Reports.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, track, and resolve defects using Jira and Xray.
- Maintain test documentation, automation artifacts, and knowledge resources in Confluence.
- Perform functional and non-functional API automation testing.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective solutions.
- Work independently, take ownership of assigned automation tasks, and contribute effectively within the wider team.

Required Qualifications :

- Overall experience : 5-9 years in software testing, with solid hands-on expertise in test automation.
- REST Assured : Minimum 4 years of practical experience.
- Java :



Minimum 4 years of programming experience for test automation.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Strong API automation experience using REST Assured and Java.
- Hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD integration.
- Experience with the Karate framework for API testing.
- Working knowledge of Allure Reports for test reporting and analytics.
- Experience with Jira and Xray for defect tracking and test management.
- Experience using Confluence for documentation and knowledge management.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and principles.
- Proven ability to create or enhance automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience with in-sprint automation testing in Agile teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a team member.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of the Playwright automation framework.
- Database automation and strong SQL skills.
- Node.js experience for automation scripting.
- Experience in the Insurance domain.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Exposure to performance testing and load testing tools.
