Role : Senior Apigee Developer

Primary Skills : Apigee Edge, Apigee X (Apigee Hybrid is a plus)

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Preferred

Location : Mumbai (Malad/Goregaon)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise APIs using Apigee Edge and Apigee X.
- Build and configure API proxies, policies, shared flows, traffic management (Quota, Spike Arrest), caching, and mediation.
- Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, API Key Validation, and threat protection.
- Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and solution teams to integrate APIs with microservices and enterprise applications.
- Support API lifecycle activities, including deployment, versioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Automate API deployments using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor API performance, resolve production issues, and ensure high availability.
- Follow API development best practices and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills :





- 6 to 10 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in Apigee Edge and Apigee X.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, and XML.
- Experience implementing API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and API Keys.
- Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, or Node.js for API development and custom policies.
- Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure, along with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Note : The client is currently open to considering Senior Apigee Developers with solid hands-on experience in Apigee Edge and Apigee X, even if they do not hold an official Architect designation. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
