Responsibilities

- Acts as the primary interface between Technology and specific business areas; identifies and analyzes business needs; conducts requirements gathering; defines scope and objectives.

- Makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through current technology or alternative uses of existing technology.

- Specializes in the evaluation of business problems and potential for automated solutions.

- Assists in identifying, evaluating and specification development for systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet requirements.

- Executes unit, integration and acceptance testing for systems that meet business needs.

- Analyzes business reporting, systems data, and relevant performance data to provide business and IT leaders insights to support decision making.

- Identifies opportunities for process improvements, systems integration,



and technology solutions that address business partners needs.

- Managing products, systems and/or projects/processes, and working independently with limited supervision.

- Facing IT function related problems that are sometimes difficult and moderately complex.

- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.

Qualifications

- University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

- Preferred: Communication and stakeholder management

- Preferred: Data analytics and reporting

- Preferred: Data cleaning, structure, and management

- Preferred: Capacity management and prioritization

- Preferred: Business/insurance acumen
- Preferred: IT processes and systems
