The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations preparing financial reports ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the finance team in budgeting audits and decision-making processes This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to supervise junior accountants Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger accounting journal entries reconciliations and month-end year-end closing activities Prepare financial statements management reports and statutory filings in compliance with regulations Monitor accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll processing Oversee tax compliance GST TDS and other statutory requirements Assist in budgeting forecasting and variance analysis Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation Supervise mentor and guide junior accountants and finance staff Collaborate with management for strategic financial planning and cost control Ensure timely and accurate reporting for decision-making Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting principles taxation and statutory compliance Proficiency in accounting software Tally ERP SAP or similar Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills Solid organizational problem-solving and time management skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Leave encashment Paid sick time Work Location In person
