Position Title: Selenium Automation Test Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Selenium Automation Test Lead to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java programming, test automation best practices, and team leadership. The role involves understanding business requirements, analyzing the Application Under Test (AUT), creating robust automation solutions, and mentoring QA team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and functional requirements and understand the Application Under Test (AUT).
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Identify and implement appropriate Selenium element locators and WebDriver commands for efficient automation.
- Enhance and optimize existing automated test suites for improved reliability and maintainability.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Review test results, analyze defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and automation metrics.




- Lead, mentor, and guide automation team members on best practices and technical challenges.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and quality assurance activities throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in Selenium WebDriver Automation Testing.
- Proficiency in Java Programming and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
- Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
