We are looking for a Scala Developer with Big Data expertise to build scalable data pipelines, distributed processing systems, and high-throughput backend services. You will work on processing TBs of data daily using Spark and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Backend Development: Design and develop scalable microservices using Scala Akka / Play / http4s
- Big Data Processing: Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines using Apache Spark, Spark SQL, Structured Streaming
- Data Platforms: Work with Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Kafka, Flink for large-scale data ingestion and processing
- Cloud: Deploy and manage jobs on AWS EMR / GCP Dataproc / Azure HDInsight S3, GCS, ADLS
- Data Storage: Work with Data Lakes, Delta Lake, Iceberg, HBase, Cassandra, PostgreSQL
