Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM (Transportation Management) Consultant with 5–10 years of SAP TM implementation and support experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP TM solutions, with hands-on experience in transportation planning, freight management, carrier collaboration, and logistics execution. The candidate should possess excellent functional knowledge, strong stakeholder management skills, and experience working on end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and design SAP TM solutions aligned with transportation and logistics processes.

Configure and implement SAP TM functionalities, including Transportation Planning, Freight Unit Management, Freight Order Management, Freight Booking, Carrier Selection, Tendering, and Freight Settlement.

Configure transportation charge management, rate determination, transportation proposals, and planning strategies.

Work on transportation execution processes, shipment planning, route optimization, scheduling, and monitoring.

Integrate SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP GTS, SAP EM, and external transportation management systems.

Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.

Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement continuous improvements.

Participate in data migration, master data setup, cutover planning, and go-live support activities.

Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, and end-user training.

Ensure SAP best practices and project standards are followed throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Work closely with business stakeholders,



project managers, developers, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

5–10 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).

Robust hands-on experience with SAP TM configuration and implementation.

Experience with SAP TM master data, business partner setup, transportation network, and resources.

Strong experience integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP SD, SAP MM, and third-party logistics systems.

Experience with BRF+, PPF, Output Management, IDocs, APIs, and Web Services.

Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for Transportation Management.

Experience working on end-to-end implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and support projects.

Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and transportation business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

SAP TM Certification is preferred.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management is highly desirable.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is an added advantage.

Project Experience

Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects.

Experience in global rollout, upgrade, migration, or AMS support projects.

Experience working in client-facing consulting environments.
