We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join our team and support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP MDG across Customer, Material, Financial, Supplier, and Enterprise Master Data domains, along with hands-on technical experience in ABAP, Workflow, FPM, and Web Dynpro technologies. This role involves collaborating with global stakeholders, gathering business requirements, designing scalable governance solutions, and ensuring high-quality master data management processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions across multiple master data domains.

- Configure and enhance SAP MDG for Customer, Material, Financial, Supplier, Cost Center, Profit Center, GL Account, and WBS master data.

- Develop and customize SAP MDG applications using ABAP Object-Oriented Programming.

- Create and maintain MDG technical specifications, design documents, and solution documentation.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and sustainable MDG solutions.

- Perform data model enhancements, validations, derivations, and workflow configurations within SAP MDG.

- Develop and enhance ABAP Floor Plan Manager (FPM) and Web Dynpro applications.

- Design, develop, and support MDG workflows, approval processes, and governance controls.

- Collaborate with global stakeholders and business teams to understand and implement master data governance requirements.

- Support MDG configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and production support activities.





- Troubleshoot and resolve MDG-related technical and functional issues.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

- Work closely with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and enterprise data governance programs.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

- Robust experience implementing and supporting SAP MDG solutions.

- Expertise in managing:

- Customer Master Data

- Material Master Data

- Financial Master Data

- Supplier Master Data

- Cost Center Master Data

- Profit Center Master Data

- GL Account Master Data

- WBS Master Data

- Strong hands-on experience in:

- SAP MDG

- ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOABAP)

- ABAP Workflow

- ABAP Floor Plan Manager (FPM)

- ABAP Web Dynpro

- Data Model Enhancements

- Experience creating and updating technical specifications, design documents, and governance documentation.

- Strong understanding of Master Data Governance processes, workflows, and industry best practices.

- Experience with validation rules, derivation logic, and workflow-driven approval processes.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

- Experience working in global delivery and distributed project environments.
