SAP EWM Functional Consultant

Location: Bengaluru | Pune | Hyderabad

GyanSys is seeking experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultants to design, implement, and support SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions for global enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in warehouse management processes, SAP EWM configuration, and end-to-end implementation projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable, and integrated warehouse solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP EWM functional solutions.

Configure and implement SAP EWM processes, including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory management.

Design and support warehouse structures, storage types, storage bins, work centers, and resource management.

Configure key EWM functionalities such as putaway, picking, packing, replenishment, physical inventory, and wave management.

Collaborate with technical teams to develop custom enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms.

Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, PP, TM, and other enterprise applications.

Prepare functional specifications and support development, testing, and deployment activities.





Conduct system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.

Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.

Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and project delivery standards.

Skills

Strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

End-to-end SAP EWM implementation and support experience

Warehouse Structure and Master Data Configuration

Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse & Inventory Processes

Putaway, Picking, Packing, Replenishment, Wave Management

Physical Inventory and Resource Management

Integration with SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, PP, and TM

Functional Specification Documentation

Testing, Deployment, and Production Support Preferred Skills

Experience with decentralized and embedded EWM

Exposure to RF Framework and Warehouse Monitor

Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for EWM

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience in global rollout or implementation projects Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience

Domain Experience: 3–5 Years

Relevant Experience: 0–8+ Years Preferred Certifications

SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Extended Warehouse Management
