The Opportunity SAP BTP RAP Senior Developer Your Key Responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking a SAP BTP RAP Senior Developer with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team.

This role involves supporting the design and development of cloud ready applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).



The position emphasizes hands on development, adoption of clean core–aligned design patterns, delivery of scalable, high quality solutions and mentoring junior team members Collaborate with functional teams to convert business needs into technical solutions

Develop application & api’s using SAP RAP (managed/unmanaged scenarios)

Convert legacy applications using RAP

Create and enhance CDS views with UI and analytical annotations

Build and test OData services using RAP

Support development of SAP Fiori elements / SAPUI5 applications

Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance improvements

Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers

Support Level 3 incidents, enhancements, and continuous improvements

Ability to work independently , as part of a team and lead the team.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP RAP, ABAP Cloud and related technologies.

Skills And Attributes For Success Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

SAP ABAP on HANA and strong ABAP Oops

SAP RAP fundamentals (BOs, behavior definitions, service binding)

CDS Views & Annotations

SAP key user and developer extensibility

OData services

Clean Core & Cloud ready development concepts

SAP Business Application Studio for Fiori Elements / SAPUI5

Debugging & troubleshooting skills

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills: SAP BTP services (Workflow, BPA, Integration, AI services)

Implement side by side extensions aligned with Clean Core principles

SAP S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud experience

Agile / Scrum experience
