We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 6-11 years of experience in ABAP development and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP applications and interfaces within our SAP workplace.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
- Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.
- Provide support for SAP system upgrades and enhancements.
- Conduct unit testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP programs and processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-11 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, CO) and their integration points.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ALV reports, BAPIs, and enhancements.
- Experience with SAP HANA and CDS views is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP Workflow and Smart Forms.
- Good understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
