Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager Government Vertical to drive business growth by acquiring and managing Government accounts across Central Government, State Government, PSUs, Defence, Smart Cities, and other Public Sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive Government sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Acquire recent Government/Public Sector customers and expand existing accounts.
- Sell IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Managed Services solutions.
- Build relationships with Government Departments, Ministries, PSUs, Smart Cities, and key decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities through GeM, RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and Government procurement processes.
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, Technical, and OEM teams to develop customer-centric solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.




- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve quarterly and annual business targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 10–15 years of experience in Government IT Sales.
- Proven experience in Government/Public Sector business development.
- Strong experience in IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Networking, Data Centre, and System Integration solutions.
- Experience handling GeM, tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and Government procurement.
- Exposure to OEMs such as Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, Hitachi, HP Aruba, Juniper, Dell, HPE, or similar.
- Strong account management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Central Government, State Government, PSUs, Defence, or Smart City projects.
