Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales to drive business growth, manage distributor and retailer relationships, and contribute to revenue generation in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B or agri-inputs sales, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard potential retailers/distributors in the assigned territory
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Drive sales targets and achieve revenue objectives
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities,
and customer needs
- Execute promotional activities, trade programs, and product launches
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams for smooth order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to leadership
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in field sales, preferably in agri-inputs, FMCG, or B2B platforms
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel within the assigned region
- Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office
