:

A Sales Executive in the paint industry drives revenue by managing dealer networks, acquiring new clients, and achieving sales targets for decorative or industrial paints.

Key duties include visiting dealer sites, managing product demonstrations, collecting payments, and maintaining relationships with contractors and architects to maximize market share.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Target Achievement: Meet monthly and annual sales volume/value targets for assigned territories.

- Dealer/Channel Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers/distributors, ensuring adequate inventory, and communicating company schemes.

- Business Development: Actively identify new sales opportunities, onboard new dealers, and generate leads from construction sites, architects, and contractors.

- Market Coverage & Intelligence: Conduct regular market visits to understand competitor activity and market trends, reporting findings to management.

- Order & Collection Management: Ensure timely order booking, processing, and payment collection from clients to minimize outstanding dues.

- Technical Support:



Organize product demonstrations, on-site sampling, and training sessions for painters and contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is often preferred).

- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in field sales, preferably within the paint, construction chemicals, or FMCG industry.

- Attributes: Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a target-oriented mindset.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with CRM tools for reporting.

- Logistics: Two-wheeler is mandatory for field visits and extensive traveling is expected.
