Anmol Industries Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Audit officer to conduct distributor audits, damage and expiry audits, stock verification, and warehouse audits across assigned territories. The role requires extensive field travel and regular interaction with distributors, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company SOPs, inventory accuracy, and effective audit reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Damage Audit
- Conduct damage and expiry audits at distributor and stockist locations as per the audit plan.
- Verify product quantity, manufacturing/expiry dates, weights, and stock conditions.
- Calculate damage percentages and prepare audit observations.
- Generate debit notes as per company SOPs and obtain necessary approvals.
Distributor & Stock Verification
- Carry out physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Identify stock variances, non-moving inventory, and process gaps.
- Ensure compliance with inventory management standards and company policies.
Warehouse (Godown) Audit
- Audit warehouse storage practices, product stacking, FIFO compliance, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Identify issues related to product damage, moisture, leakage, and storage conditions.
- Recommend corrective actions and follow up on closure.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily MIS and audit reports.
- Submit audit findings, damage percentages, and compliance reports to management within defined timelines.
- Maintain complete audit documentation and records.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with distributors, sales personnel, and regional teams for audit planning and execution.
- Ensure adherence to audit procedures, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Support investigations related to stock discrepancies and inventory losses.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of inventory control, stock audit, and FMCG distribution operations.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Positive communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in field-based assignments.
Travel Requirement
- Extensive travel is mandatory (approximately 1525 days per month or as per business requirements).
- Willingness to travel across assigned territories on short notice.
- Comfortable working in a field-based audit role involving distributor visits, warehouse inspections, and market audits.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 12 years of experience in Sales Audit, Inventory Audit, Commercial Audit, FMCG Operations, or Distributor Management.
- Experience in distributor stock audits and warehouse audits will be preferred.
- Must be willing to undertake extensive travel and stay at outstation locations as required.
- Strong integrity, accountability, and ability to work under deadlines.
