Role Description The Sales Associate role at Nappa Dori is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh.

The Sales

Associate will welcome customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations that reflect Nappa Dori’s design philosophy and craftsmanship. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding customers through the collection, explaining product features and care, processing transactions, handling returns or exchanges, and maintaining a clean and visually appealing store environment. The role also involves inventory checks, restocking merchandise, supporting visual merchandising updates, and sharing customer feedback with the store leadership team.

Associate will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and deliver a premium, personalized shopping experience.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with diverse customers.

Sales and retail experience, including product presentation, upselling, and handling point-of-sale systems or cash registers.

Attention to detail and interest in design, craftsmanship, and fashion or lifestyle products, ideally with an appreciation for handcrafted goods.

Organizational skills for inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining store cleanliness and display standards.

Ability to work full time on-site in Chandigarh, including weekends and holidays, as part of a rotating schedule.

Professional demeanor, reliability, and a team-oriented approach to meeting store goals and delivering consistent brand-aligned service.

Basic computer literacy for billing, reporting, and using retail software; prior experience in premium or luxury retail is an advantage.

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, business, design, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
