Job Responsibilities

- Ensure implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and statutory compliance at the project site.

- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

- Monitor work permits for high-risk activities such as hot work, work at height, confined space entry, excavation, lifting operations, and electrical work.

- Carry out risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA).

- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programmes for employees and contractors.

- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.

- Monitor compliance during civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, and commissioning activities.

- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, mock drills, and safety audits.

- Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records,



and statutory documentation.

- Ensure compliance with client safety requirements and applicable Indian safety regulations.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Industrial Safety Standards and EHS Management Systems.

- Hands-on experience in power plant construction or EPC projects.

- Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), HIRA, JSA, Incident Investigation, and Safety Audits.

- Familiarity with IS standards, Factory Act, BOCW Act, and other applicable safety regulations.

- Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office.
