The Roster Lead will be responsible for leading and managing the roster and attendance management function for the assigned region/business unit. The role involves workforce planning, shift allocation, attendance monitoring, payroll coordination, ERP management, and MIS reporting while leading a team of 810 roster executives/coordinators.
The position requires strong leadership, operational coordination, analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate manpower deployment and payroll support in alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, guide, and manage a team of 8–10 Roster Executives/Coordinators.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance to ensure timely deliverables.
- Conduct regular reviews, training, and mentoring sessions for team members.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, roster processes, and operational standards.
- Drive accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement within the team.
2. Roster Management
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly employee rosters.
- Ensure optimum manpower allocation based on operational requirements.
- Manage shift scheduling, replacements, weekly offs, and absenteeism adjustments.
- Coordinate with Operations teams for uninterrupted manpower deployment.
- Monitor roster compliance and maintain operational efficiency across sites.
3. Attendance Management
- Supervise daily attendance tracking across all assigned locations/sites.
- Ensure accurate marking of attendance, leave, absenteeism, and overtime.
- Verify attendance records and resolve discrepancies within defined timelines.
- Monitor attendance trends and escalate manpower shortages proactively.
4. ERP & System Management
- Manage and maintain employee data in ERP systems (Satura/Saturan or similar platforms).
- Ensure timely and accurate system updates related to roster and attendance.
- Generate operational and attendance reports through ERP systems.
- Coordinate with IT/ERP support teams for issue resolution and system improvements.
5. Payroll Coordination
- Coordinate with the Payroll team for accurate salary processing.
- Ensure timely sharing of validated attendance and shift data.
- Support resolution of payroll discrepancies related to attendance, shifts, and overtime.
- Maintain payroll data accuracy and compliance with payroll timelines.
6. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain workforce dashboards, attendance summaries, and deployment reports.
- Analyze manpower and attendance data to support management decisions.
- Present operational insights and reports to management as required.
7. Data Management & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee and operational records using MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Handle large datasets related to manpower planning, attendance, and workforce allocation.
- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and process compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness.
8. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a key point of coordination between Operations, HR, Payroll, and Site Teams.
- Support issue resolution related to deployment, attendance, and payroll.
- Ensure smooth communication and workflow between departments.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies

- Experience in attendance management systems and ERP platforms

Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA / PGDM in HR or Operations will be an added advantage
Experience Required
- 4–7 years of experience in roster management, workforce management, payroll coordination, or operations support
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in team handling/leadership role preferred
- Experience in the security services/manpower-intensive industry will be an advantage
