We are looking for Senior Revenue Recognition Consultant in the ITES sector plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards such as IFRS 15 and ASC 606. This position is based in Bangalore and requires an expert in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), particularly within the SAP S/4HANA framework.

Description

- 9-12 years of experience in SAP RAR and revenue recognition processes, particularly within SAP S/4HANA.

- Proven track record in leading at least two end-to-end SAP RAR implementations.

- Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 compliance standards.

- Expertise in SAP FICO integration with other modules such as SD and MM.

- Experience in preparing Functional Design Specifications and conducting System Integration Testing.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on delivering effective solutions.

- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business users.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP RAR solutions,



ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards.

- Manage the integration of SAP RAR with upstream systems such as SD and FI to ensure accurate revenue postings.

- Prepare and deliver detailed Functional Design Specifications (FDS) by capturing business requirements and defining process flows.

- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), documenting test scenarios, executing test cases, and coordinating defect resolution.

- Monitor and troubleshoot RAR processing errors, analyzing issues related to revenue contracts and allocations.

- Develop comprehensive documentation for system design, configuration, and deployment activities.

- Provide expert configuration and support for core Finance processes within SAP S/4HANA, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present solutions, conduct walkthroughs, and obtain necessary approvals.
