We are looking for a Salesforce CPQ Tech Lead to lead the technical delivery of Salesforce CPQ Revenue Cloud CPQ implementations and enhancements This role combines hands on Salesforce development with CPQ configuration expertise to deliver scalable solutions for product configuration pricing quoting approvals renewal amendments and downstream order processing integrations
You will work with architects product owners business analysts and developers to ensure on time high quality releases aligned with Salesforce best practices
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership Sprint Delivery
- Lead technical design estimation and delivery for CPQ epics and user stories
- Break down requirements into build tasks and guide the team through implementation
- Conduct design reviews code reviews and ensure adherence to architecture standards
- Own technical debt backlog and drive continuous improvement
2 Salesforce CPQ Configuration Advanced Features
- Design and implement CPQ capabilities including
- Product bundle modelling features options configuration rules
- Price rules discount schedules contracted pricing
- Quote templates document generation quote line editor QLE usability improvements
- Approvals approval rules advanced approvals if applicable
- Amendments renewals cotermination subscriptions proration
- MDQ MultiDimensional Quoting for ramptermbased pricing
- Define CPQ best practices for performance maintainability and governance
3 Platform Development Apex LWC Integrations
- Develop and maintain custom solutions using
- Apex batch queueable scheduled triggers SOQL optimization
- LWC Aura where needed to enhance CPQ UI and guided experiences
- Flows and automation patterns aligned with CPQ objects and lifecycle
- Build secure and scalable integrations with upstream downstream systems
- CRM ERP SAP Oracle Billing OMS Product Catalog PIM Pricing engines
- RESTSOAP APIs Platform Events middleware MuleSoft preferred
- Implement error handling retries idempotency and reconciliation processes
4 Quote to Cash QTC Solution Design
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business processes into CPQ flows
- Lead Opportunity Quote Contract Order Invoice depending on ecosystem
- Align CPQ solution with Sales Cloud Contracting and Order processes
- Define data model extensions for pricing product attributes and contract terms
5 Performance Scalability
- Optimize QLE performance and quote calculation times
- Reduce rule complexity manage price rule evaluation streamline product rules
- Apply best practices for large bundles and high quote line volumes
- Ensure LDV protected patterns for quote line processing and reporting
6 DevOps Release Quality
- Drive DevOps maturity for CPQ delivery
- Git branching strategy CICD pipelines SFDX automated deployments
- Environment strategy DEVUATPREPRODPROD sandbox refreshseeding
- Ensure test quality
- Apex test coverage and regression suite test data strategy
- Support SITUAT triage defects and ensure stable golives with rollback readiness
7 Stakeholder Collaboration Mentoring
- Partner with BAsFunctional consultants to refine requirements and acceptance criteria
- Provide mentorship to developers and admins on CPQ patterns and best practices
- Create technical documentation HLDLLD configuration workbooks runbooks
