Role Description This is a full-time, in office Reporter role based in Chennai. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information on financial services, market trends, and company-related developments, producing accurate and timely news stories and reports. The role includes conducting interviews, attending events or briefings, and collaborating with editorial and communication teams to shape coverage that aligns with organizational priorities.

The Reporter will prepare clear written content for internal and external channels, contribute to multimedia storytelling when required, and ensure adherence to journalistic ethics and company guidelines. Daily responsibilities also include monitoring news sources, maintaining relationships with key contacts, and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Strong Reporting skills, including information gathering, verification, and source-building.

Excellent Writing and News Writing abilities,



with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and audience relevance.

Effective Communication skills for conducting interviews, collaborating with teams, and presenting information.

Basic Multimedia skills to support digital content such as online articles, social media posts, or simple audio/video segments.

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, economics, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Knowledge of financial services, capital markets, or business reporting is highly beneficial.

Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple stories simultaneously, and meet deadlines under pressure.
