- Undertake pre and post-sales promotional activities for the period and take measures to increase the market share/sales targets using technical skills
- Control outstanding/overdues by vigilantly monitoring the dealers and ensure that the transactions are timely completed
- Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization
Customer
- Coordinate with Regional Technical Services Manager for site visits and leverage their expertise to maximize non-trade sales as per requirements
- Maintain cordial relations with engineers, architects, and construction companies within the area to get repeat orders and to keep them up to date with the changes in the technical specifications/upgradations in the product composition
- Search for current clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated areas
Operations
- Monitor the fluctuations in sales targets and take preventive/corrective measures to avoid the same by addressing any technical knowledge gaps
- Assist colleagues with bids and tenders for new clients from a technical perspective
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required
- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
- Help in the design of custom-made products
- Take initiatives to inculcate innovation in selling techniques by adopting new technologies and techniques like cross-selling, opting for sales recording, invoice generation applications/portable machines, social media, etc.
- Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes
- Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization
Self / Team Development
- Review and monitor performance of team members and provide requisite developmental support/inputs
- Recommend training as required for team's development
- Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater to the organization's needs
- Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
