Role & responsibilities
- Perform multi-step organic synthesis of API intermediates and final products.
- Develop and optimize synthetic routes for improved yield, purity, and cost.
- Lead process development and optimization projects from lab to commercial scale.
- Review synthetic routes, process risks, and cost optimization strategies.
- Drive scale-up, technology transfer, and plant troubleshooting activities.
- Review technical reports, batch records, SOPs, and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Procurement, and Regulatory teams.
- Guide and mentor R&D; scientists/executives while ensuring quality and safety compliance.
- Identify innovation opportunities and support continuous process improvement.
- Ensure projects are completed within quality, cost, and timeline objectives
