About the Role:

We are looking for a versatile QA Automation Engineer who can also take on the Scrum Master role for our Services Division. This is a hybrid position for someone who enjoys building robust test automation frameworks while also driving agile ceremonies, removing blockers, and helping the team deliver high-quality services efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

QA & Automation:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, and other automation tools/frameworks
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks (UI, API, and regression testing)
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Analyze test results, generate quality reports, and provide actionable insights on product quality
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools/technologies to improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Maintain test documentation, test plans, and test cases

Scrum Master:

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for the Services team
- Track and manage sprint backlogs, velocity, and burndown charts
- Identify and remove impediments/blockers affecting the team's progress




- Coach the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities
- Ensure transparency of team progress through Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards, Trello)
- Drive process improvements to increase team efficiency and delivery predictability

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 36 years of experience in QA/test automation
- Robust hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress
- Familiarity with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, JMeter) is a plus
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, API, performance)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies; prior experience acting as a Scrum Master or Scrum Master certification (CSM/PSM) preferred
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with distributed/cross-functional teams

Nice to Have :

- Experience testing services-based/support delivery workflows
- Scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar
- Exposure to API testing and test data management
