Role Description The Quality Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Vellore, responsible for overseeing quality standards across manufacturing, retail, and trading operations. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production processes, and conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. The role involves analyzing quality data, identifying root causes of defects, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.

The Quality

Manager will collaborate with production, supply chain, and commercial teams to maintain consistent product quality, optimize processes,



and support continuous improvement initiatives. The position also includes preparing quality documentation, supporting audits, training staff on quality practices, and ensuring customer and regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

- Experience in quality management, quality assurance, and quality control within manufacturing or related industrial environments.

- Skills in process improvement, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

- Knowledge of quality standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO systems, SOPs, inspection protocols) relevant to manufacturing and leather or footwear industries.

- Strong analytical, data interpretation, and reporting skills to monitor quality metrics and performance trends.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production, engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams.

- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple quality initiatives while maintaining attention to detail.

- Prior experience in leather goods, footwear, or related consumer products is an advantage.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in quality or lean methodologies are beneficial.
