Role Description This is a full-time, in office Quality Engineer role based in Bengaluru.

The Quality

Engineer will oversee quality processes for elevator components and installations, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements. Daily responsibilities include inspecting materials and finished products, performing quality checks at various stages of installation, reviewing technical documentation, and maintaining detailed quality records. The role involves collaborating with design, production, and service teams to identify issues, implement corrective and preventive actions,



and continuously improve product and service quality.

The Quality

Engineer will also support audits, assist in developing quality procedures, and provide guidance to field teams on best practices.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Quality Engineering, with the ability to design and implement effective quality processes.

Hands-on experience in Quality Control, including inspections, testing, and use of measurement tools.

Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, including documentation, audits, and compliance with standards.

Experience managing Product Quality in mechanical/electromechanical systems, preferably in elevators or similar industries.

Understanding of Quality Management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, PDCA, Lean concepts).

Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations relevant to elevator installations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and safety-focused mindset.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and on-site technicians.

Prior experience in the elevator industry or building services sector is an advantage.
