We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive the quality assurance strategy for enterprise applications.

This role focuses on manual testing, quality governance, test planning, defect management, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading QA teams, defining testing processes, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

This is not an Automation Testing or SDET role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end quality assurance process for multiple enterprise applications.
- Define QA strategies, testing methodologies, and quality standards across projects.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Review business requirements and functional specifications to ensure complete test coverage.
- Lead a team of QA Engineers by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and providing technical guidance.
- Coordinate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, usability, compatibility, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform exploratory testing to identify functional gaps and improve application quality.
- Review and validate defect reports, prioritize issues, and coordinate defect resolution with development teams.
- Track testing progress, quality metrics, defect trends, and release readiness.
- Ensure compliance with established QA processes, documentation standards, and testing best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential quality issues early in the development lifecycle.




- Mentor junior QA professionals and establish knowledge-sharing practices within the team.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, release planning, and retrospective meetings.
- Continuously improve QA processes to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.

Required Skills :

- 1214 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with robust expertise in Manual Testing.
- Proven experience leading QA teams in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Extensive experience in functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, usability, and UAT testing.
- Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle management and root cause analysis.
- Experience preparing detailed test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test execution reports.
- Hands-on experience using defect tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SQL for backend data validation.
- Experience working with enterprise web and mobile applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Experience in release management and quality reporting.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience leading QA activities for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Exposure to API validation using tools such as Postman (for verification only, not automation).
- Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility testing principles.
- Experience working in Banking, FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, SaaS, or Enterprise Product environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
