- Develop, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for validating software functionality.
- Conduct system integration testing, functional testing, regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand product specifications and user requirements.
- Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and execution reports for clarity and traceability.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to resolve them.
- Assist in automating test processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure alignment on testing goals and progress.
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical), or I.T.
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Experience in functional, regression and integration testing.
- Familiarity with system automation tools and testing frameworks.
- Passionate about solution quality and 100% test coverage. Attention to details.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
- Willingness to adjust work hours to overlap with the working hours of the team members located abroad.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or other scripting languages for automation is a plus.
- Any knowledge and/or interest in electrical concepts, power grids, renewable or green energy is always a plus.
- Knowledge and experience of system automation and common tools and libraries.
