About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

- Work experience: Minimum 2 years of testing experience working in different domains/applications under agile methodology.
- Knowledge, skills, or abilities: Working knowledge on Functional testing, Non-Functional testing, Web application testing, Automation testing using Java with Selenium, API testing, Backend application testing, DB testing etc.
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related degree or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experience.

It would be great if you also had experience with.

- DB: Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge on Cucumber Automation framework
- Knowledge of Playwright

What will you be doing in this role

- Should adhere to the Agile/Scrum development process.
- Provides input for the planning, integration, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project.
- Hands on and proven database validation experience using SQL




- Should be able to build test harnesses/ utilities using Java, JavaScript, Python etc.
- Positive experience in API Testing using POSTMAN and/or SOAP UI
- Reviews business requirements and designs specifications for low to moderately complex changes/systems for completeness and testability.
- Develops, writes, and maintains the test plans, develops test cases for the assigned JIRA stories/bugs/tasks.
- Conducts testing using company-specific, manual, programmatic or automated processes.
- Executes test cases and communicates the results of testing.
- Provides inputs and escalates issues in bug triage meetings and coordinates with development team if required under the guidance of the Lead.
- Conducts root cause analysis and correlation of other system and/or problems of moderate complexity.
- Identifies risk, comes up with mitigation plans, and implements the same.
