Role & responsibilities

- Assist in monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications,

drawings, IS codes, and quality standards.
- Support in developing and implementing inspection and test plans (ITP).
- Conduct basic material checks, tests, and verification at site/laboratory.
- Carry out inspections for formwork, reinforcement, concrete, finishing, and other civil works under guidance.
- Report non-conformities (NCRs) and assist in corrective/preventive actions.
- Verify workmanship and ensure use of approved materials.
- Maintain daily quality records, checklists, and test reports.
- Assist in preparation of QA/QC documentation like method statements, quality checklists, and test logs.




- Coordinate with contractors and consultants for approvals of inspection requests (IRs).
- Support in sampling and witnessing tests for concrete, soil, aggregates, cement, steel, tiles, etc.
- Keep records of test certificates and calibration certificates of equipment.
- Support site engineers in ensuring that works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers for compliance
