Responsibilities
- Assist in inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support quality control activities on the production floor.
- Perform basic testing and measurement of products using standard tools and instruments.
- Record inspection results and maintain proper quality documentation.
- Identify defects or deviations and report them to senior team members.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area as per 5S standards.
- Support implementation of quality tools such as check sheets, Pareto analysis, and cause-effect diagrams.
- Participate in internal audits and quality checks.
- Coordinate with production teams to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Assist in maintaining calibration records of measuring instruments (if applicable).
- Learn and apply basic knowledge of quality systems and processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of daily quality activities.
