Automation, mobile apps, iOS, Android, Java, appium, playwright, selenium

We are seeking Automation engineer with strong experience in mobile app automation , website and POS automation. This role will focus on building and maintaining automation frameworks that validate end-to-end customer ordering workflows across mobile apps, websites, and POS systems. The ideal candidate combines software engineering skills with QA automation expertise and has hands-on experience automating iOS, Android, web applications, and device-integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for:
- Mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Websites and ordering portals
- POS workflows
- Build mobile automation test suites using Appium
- Develop web automation using modern tools such as Playwright or Selenium
- Automate POS ordering workflows and store integrations
- Create API automation tests for backend services
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain automation stability, reliability, and execution speed
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers
- Participate in test strategy, test design, and automation planning

Required Skills

- 5–8 years of QA automation or SDET experience




- Robust programming skills in one of:
- Java
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Python
- Groovy
- Hands-on experience automating:
- Mobile apps (iOS and Android)
- Web applications
- POS workflows or device-based systems
- Experience with:
- Appium (mobile automation)
- Playwright or Selenium (web automation)
- Jmeter or any performance testing tools
- Api testing
- Experience with API automation
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with automation framework design patterns (POM, modular frameworks)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience testing digital ordering platforms or retail/QSR systems
- Experience with React Native mobile apps
- Experience using device farms (Browser Stack, AWS Device Farm)
- Knowledge of Git-based development workflows
- Familiarity with MCP-style test design and automation workflows
- Experience using Generative AI tools for automation development
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)

Nice-to-Have Domain Experience

- POS systems and store ordering workflows
- Menu and pricing systems
- Payment integrations
- End-to-end order lifecycle validation
- Retail or QSR technology platforms
